PHP of NC, Inc. is an internationally CARF-accredited mental health agency specializing in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) for children and adults).  PHP of NC, Inc. received a perfect score of 100% during its last accreditation survey, ranking in the top 3% of service providers internationally.  PHP of NC, Inc. is also a licensed Home Care Agency. PHP of NC, Inc. is contracted with Alliance Behavioral Health Care, Cardinal Innovations Health Care and SandHills Managed Care Organization to provide services in Durham, Orange, Person, Chatham, Wake, Vance, Granville, Franklin, Alamance, Graham and Warren Counties. PHP of NC, Inc. is licensed by the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Medical Assistance.

PHP of NC, Inc. was birthed on a wing and a prayer. The founder and CEO, Justine Wiggins, was given a vision for a company that would change the face of mental health services in the Durham Community. After spending two decades working for the largest technology company worldwide, Justine felt she was handed a vision for working with people with special needs. Despite her lack of knowledge for the field, she knew she possessed the drive and will to make her dream a reality.  Over the years, Justine has the strong support of her husband, Marion Wiggins and their two children, Yolanda and Phillip.
